Bedroom Changes

I’m sorry for the lack of posting lately. We are borrowing internet from our neighbors (thank goodness it’s unsecured), while we wait for Comcast to arrive on Saturday. So, in the meantime, this internet is super duper slowsers.
For today, I’m only going to show one picture cause of the turtle’s pace and all. Remember when we used to put up with dial up internet? Ha ha.
Do you remember this shot from Domino? This was the one that started my obsession with the Edland Four Poster bed at Ikea. I can remember when this issue first came out and I was pretty sure that one day I would recreate the bedroom, oh and become that cute girl. Well, now it seems to be my chance, to at least buy the Edland. I’ll have my own take on the room and I’m pretty happy with being me at this point in my life. I know I just bought a headboard off of e-bay but in this new place it looks very puny because we have high ceilings. The high ceilings are screaming at me, telling me to sell my headboard and buy the Edland. BTW, the Edland is only $279, amazing price. We shall see. Do any of you own the Edland? How do you like it?

I have been dreaming of a canopy bed my whole life! I love this West Elm bed and it is on sale if you want another inspiration idea. I would do anything for a canopy bed, except make it. They are much harder to make.

Lady, you KNOW I have the Edland bed, right? I love it. It doesn’t scream Ikea, and blends nicely in both a traditional and modern space. It’s sturdy and a great price. I can’t endorse it enough!
