Black is the New Black

Coming off of a black tie event this past weekend, I have black on my mind. I think it is so chic painted on walls. It is a daring color to choose but it often pays off, big time. Black walls are not just for teenagers going through a goth phase anymore. However, if you ever do choose this color for your walls, it is important to use lighter furniture. I first fell in love with black walls when I saw Jenna Lyon’s bedroom in Domino Magazine. I love her style and all that she has done for J. Crew.
