New Nursery Lighting

On a cold rainy day, just two days before Christmas, a lovely handyman came to our home to help make the final baby nursery needs come true.
One thing on his list of goodies was to switch out this lighting that was in our rental…
It’s a pretty antique light but it didn’t have the baby vibe I was going for. This chandelier I picked up at a small antique shop in Aptos had just the look and feel I was going for (secret tip – Aptos has the best priced and best finds in terms of antiquing).
She looks so pretty up in the room….
And a little farther away…
The Ikat chandelier shades are still in the mail and we’ll see if I’ll need them or not.
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Graham and I will be taking our birth class on Saturday. I’m strangely excited even though the whole delivery thing is about to get very real…I’ve heard there are videos. Wish us luck. 🙂
