Tone On Tone Stripes

I’m meeting with a client this morning to finalize paint colors for some tone on tone stripes that will be painted in their family office. I really like the look of large horizontal stripes in a room and when they are tone on tone they have a very classic look to them.

When going for the tone on tone look, just pick a paint colors that are about two shades away from each other to get that subtle look. If you would like a bit more differentiation, you can do one color matte and the other glossy.

Love the stripes! One day when we redo our awful yellow patterned guest bathroom wallpaper I’m totally going for 2 toned stripes. Or maybe for a nursery, that’s my favorite picture!
