Overnight Babysit

Now that I’m in my thirties, I’m of the age where people trust me for an overnight babysit with their precious ones.  It takes a lot of responsibility but as long as their well protected they do survive the night.  Last night, I watched over this baby –

Isn’t she pretty?!

It’s an original piece by the artist,Patricia Thomas, and I’m holding it for a client.  I picked it up yesterday and I’m dropping it off today.  When I picked it up and had it in the back seat of the car, I drove about ten miles an hour.  Then, when I brought it home, I put it in a corner of the home that we never walk by and had it completely protected from any sort of sunlight.  Now, that I’ve had a Patricia Thomas piece overnight, I may be begging Graham that we take the plunge and own one of our own.

Here is another one of her works that was featured in House Beautiful.

I can’t wait to deliver this to my client, even though I’m majorly jealous.  It will look stunning in her home.  Patricia Thomas’ work is available at Slate Gallery.

It is fantastic. I guess, since you’ve posted a picture online, the piece can’t mysteriously disappear…I’m sure your client will absolutely love it!

Wow that is a beautiful piece. How much would something like that set me back?
