Project Reveal: Noe Valley Home

September 13, 2011 at 5:29 AM 10 comments

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I’ve started working in staging in addition to having my own company.  It’s been fun to pick furniture from a giant storage facility and transform homes.  I thought I’d share with you my first project.  This three bedroom home was empty and three days later this is how I staged it…

My favorite room to work on was the kid’s room; I love that you can get a bit more playful with those rooms.  The home is sale pending currently which is exciting.  I’ve done three more homes since then and I’m working on another this week.  It’s been a great learning experience and it has really helped me with my styling.

I can’t tell you how impressed I am with what you have done with a completely empty house. Were the wall colors already chosen? I like how you didn’t overdecorate and no heavy drapery. It is so fresh and airy; I could move right in. Congratulations on a job well done.

Kate, it looks gorgeous! Can you share sources? I’m particularly in love with the brass console table in the living room–so chic!

Something tells me this home will move quickly with the help of your masterful staging!

Kate! It looks amazing! It was empty and you created this? How awesome, you did a great great job. I agree, it’s so light and pretty and move-in-able! The animal stuff in the kid room is great, how fun! Quite impressed, what a fun job for you.

Great work do you paint walls and do carpet and window coverings or are you taking what is currently there and working with existing color pallet?

Do you choose paint colors too? Looks like fun.

Oh wow! I am so, so impressed and can’t begin to imagine what a big job this must be! My favorite is the kids room too. I like how you place the animal heads off center from the bed. Cool.

I love what you chose to do with the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom, the colors provide a good contrast but they’re also very warm and inviting.

I’ve always had a strong interest in interior design, looking into different ways I could decorate my home once I became a homeowner. I’ve actually slowly started writing articles and that on interior design to magazines, your project looks just like something I’d be interested in writing about.
