Happy Friday

Happy Friday!! I’ve got a busy weekend ahead of me. Saturday is the baby shower, I’m co-hosting…I’ve got to finish up all the details on it. Sunday is Father’s Day; it still is a tough day for me. I always have my dad on my mind and much more so on Father’s Day. He lit up our family in so many ways and while we try to keep his fire going, there’s a huge space in all of our lives missing.
We miss you and love you, Dad!!
Horrible segue here but Dad always loved a party. And Saturday’s party will be a great one. For the baby shower, one of the details we will be using is striped straws (fingers crossed they make it in the mail on time). I ordered them from this ETSY shop: IsaKay Boutique. If you’re already planning out your Fourth of July, I’d pick up some straws…
They always add such a fun element of festivity. I love that Melissa of the blog, Seagrass Interiors, went with green striped straws at her beautiful wedding…
They matched the groom’s tie perfectly…
For more pictures of their gorgeous wedding, check them out on her fantastic blog, here.
Happy Friday – hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
