Eddie Ross

A while back, I mentioned that I met Eddie Ross at an opening party in Chicago.  I had said that I would write up a future post on who he is, in case you have not heard of him.  Well, I have not forgotten to do this – sorry it has taken me a while to get around to it.

You may have heard of Eddie Ross from Season Two of Bravo’s show: Top Design.  Prior to his appearance on the show, he worked for House Beautiful, where he produced the “Weekend Shopper” monthly article, and Martha Stewart Living, as the Senior Style Editor.  Currently, he works with his partner Jaithan at their own company: Eddie Ross, Inc., he offers interior design and styling services, event production, and an online boutique for vintage tabletop and giftware.  He also goes on flea market tours where you can sign up to go to a flea market with him and watch the master at work.

He is amazing at entertaining and setting a table, often using thrift store finds.  Check out this beauty…

I’m in love with all the colors!  I am always blown away by Eddie’s work; he is constantly impressing me!

Eddie saw this old bench at a Flea Market in Florida.  I actually already find it terrific for a more rustic home or even in a home that mixes modern and antiques.  Here is the piece that he found…

Now it may not be looking so fab here and everything Eddie touches is fabu so he upped the beauty on the bench by painting it white and upholstering the seats…simply genius.

Wow!

Here is the bench in all of it’s glory

Love the bench and the wire baskets below.  It is perfection.  He really gets you thinking about different treasures at flea markets; he only paid $45 when he bought the bench in it’s original form. I encourage you to check out his blog here, you’ll get lost in a wold of wonder.
