Blue and White Done Right

The title “Blue and White Done Right” is deceiving because it is a color combination that’s pretty tough to do wrong.  (I just liked the sound of the title).  Don’t you just love the classic look of blue and white together? My personal favorite shade of blue is navy and I think it looks best tied with a crisp, bright white. Call me a sucker for all things nautical, Nantucket-y or preppy.

Here are some more pictures of the classic combination…

I agree, it’s hard to go wrong with blue & white 🙂 Love the picture of the cabinet with the wainscoting and dark blue upper walls. Not sure about that octopus artwork, though!!

We’re having a giveaway over at DesignTies — stop by if you have a minute and check it out. You could win a beautiful necklace from Lisa Leonard 🙂

I love that picture as well. I’m into the navy blue laquered walls. I like the octopus artwork, but I can see how you can be unsure about it.

Love your blog and your giveaway!

      Thanks for the tip.

Ha ha! You guys do win on the color scheme. Now Gold and brown…that’s a different story. But I’ll admit our colors were yellow and brown…ick.
